Yucen Xie
Currently studying Fine Art at Kingston School of Art, London.
Yucen focuses on exploring documentary ethics, the authenticity of imagery, and regional dynamics within contemporary culture. Her work and research blend critical inquiry with artistic expression, spanning documentary filmmaking, photographic installations, and visual storytelling. Yucen’s projects explore the intersection of personal memory and collective history, using visual metaphors to merge the marginal with the intimate. She investigates how societal transformations shape the sense of belonging for individuals and communities.
