Self-adhesive paper printing, foam board mounting

Bricks, shovels  (Irregular shapes/chips)

Through the combination of archival photographs and bricks, the work attempts to explore the relationship between time, labour, and materiality. The bricks are the physical remains of history, while the archival photographs provide the cultural memory of society and individuals. In the process of recombining these elements, an attempt is made to awaken the viewer's attention to the dialogue between them: the metaphor of architecture and labour, the resonance of memory and time, and the tension between the state of anonymity and collective identity.
